T. Ryan Langley

After law school, Langley honed his legal skills at the Atlanta office of Alston & Bird, LLP, where he focused on significant construction litigation and government contract matters. For the past 17 years, Ryan has focused his practice on cases involving catastrophic injury and wrongful death from car and truck collisions, dangerous/defective drugs and devices, and medical errors. His litigation experience spans all levels of South Carolina courts, including multiple appearances before the Supreme Court, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit. He has also litigated extensively in state and federal courts in North Carolina and Georgia where he is also licensed to practice.
Recognized for his exceptional legal acumen, Langley holds an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale Hubbell, the highest level of professional excellence from his peers and the judiciary. He is a member of the Board of the International Society of Barristers, an invitation-only organization dedicated to upholding excellence and advocacy in the adversarial legal system. Additionally, Langley is an active member of the South Carolina Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates, another invitation-only society committed to preserving and promoting the Seventh Amendment right to civil jury trials.
Beyond his legal practice, Mr. Langley enjoys volunteering in the community in various roles. He has been a member of First Presbyterian Church of Spartanburg since 2007, where he serves on the diaconate. He previously served as vice-chair of the Tyger River Chapel Foundation, a group that raised over a million dollars to construct a chapel on the prison yard. He lends his advisory expertise to various non-profits, including the Salvation Army, Rotary Club of Spartanburg, and the Charles Lea Center. Ryan is committed to serving clients and advocating for justice but also to making a positive impact beyond the courtroom.
