Matt Foss

After working several years in the legal field, Matt began practicing law in early 2020 and obtained his first six-figure verdict just over a month later. Since practicing, Matt has obtained judgments and jury verdicts in excess of six million dollars, and effectuated millions of dollars in settlements for his clients. His experience covers all 46 counties of South Carolina courts (and Federal courts), including appearances at the South Carolina Court of Appeals. Matt has also taught evening legal education classes for the South Carolina Bar Association.

Matt focuses his practice on civil litigation and personal injury, including motor vehicle litigation, commercial motor vehicle wrecks, landlord tenant law, wrongful death, and drunk driving incidents, and premises liability. His particular emphasis, both professionally and scholastically, focuses on crashes that involve large trucks and buses, and helping victims of drunk drivers by holding the wrongdoers accountable for creating dangerous situations.

Outside of the courtroom, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Victoria, playing golf, watching sports, trying out new breweries and restaurants, and volunteering in the community.Most importantly, Matt’s greatest pride professionally is the close and personal relationship he builds with his clients.
